Cost of NY Living

Hurrah for the strong kiwi dollar! For the first time ever in our overseas travels the local (ie US) prices seem reasonable. Tickets to the Broadway shows for excellent seats have been similar or cheaper than NZ. Clothes are a similar price to NZ. Cafe prices are also reasonable (with the exception of the Met Museum of Art where the cost of lunch was excessive even by museum rip off standards).
