The door opens automatically when you wave your hand at it; the seat has a hygienic plastic film cover, which is replaced automatically when you wave at the sensor; the taps are automatic (not so unusual); and the paper towels are dispensed automatically. The only manual operation left was the soap dispenser, for some reason.
And we think we are an advanced country.
At the other end of the scale, one restaurant toilet I used had the light on a sensor. After about ten seconds of stillness I was plunged into pitch blackness.
