It's our ast full day in Amsterdam, and there's a bit of a heat wave in the city! Today's maximum is expected to be 33 C, which is great for drying the laundry but makes walking the streets for any distance fairly arduous. You must buy tickets and book a time to get into the Van Gogh museum, and the earliest we could get was 12:45 which meant we could not walk there in the cool of the morning. We took to the trams to save ourselves from overheating.

It is too hot today. Our B&B has no air conditioning, but there is a nice fan which we leave running all night. It is forecast to cool down again tomorrow, so that is something to look forward to. Tonight we prepare to leave Amsterdam tomorrow and take to the roads by car. We will be moving to another B&B this time in Delft. Time to watch more of those "driving in the Netherlands" videos on YouTube....
