"A high-altitude hike with incomparable views: hiking from the mountain station on the Schynige Platte (1967m) towards Faulhorn rewards you with views of the famous Bernese triumvirate Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The straightforward but physically demanding hike takes you steadily uphill through wonderful alpine flora to the Faulhorn summit at 2681 metres. While the view to the south is dominated by the impressive glacier world, to the north and west Lakes Brienz and Thun can be seen. Faulhorn Mountain Hotel is located just below the summit of the Faulhorn."
