For our last few days on this trip we rambled down the more inland roads, away from the coast, visiting Yandina, Nambour, Landsborough and Beerwah. We stayed one night at the quaint "Eco Lodge", a labour of love of the owner Keith who has built it up over 40 years. There are little bungalows and repurposed railway carriages dotted about an orchard of exotic fruit trees and adjacent to a coffee plantation.

Back in Brisbane, our last place was on the 18th floor close to the river, looking across from the south bank to the lights of the big city. |

And that was it! We flew home direct to Wellington, back to reality.
