Canakkale

Today was mostly spent driving, to get to Canakkale which is a city beside the water on the Dardanelles.  We are now at "J" on the map so have almost completed the loop.  Tomorrow at 7:15 am we cross the water on the ferry from Asia to Europe and set out for the battlefields of Gallipoli.

The Trojan Horse at Cannakkale.

The Trojan horse on the waterfront at Cannakkale is actually one built for the Hollywood movie "Troy".  The waterfront was very lively, with lots of people out walking and eating at outdoor tables.
